You went to see Hailey!
Episode Four: Hailey Found Something
Neesie didn't hesitate.
If Hailey said she'd found something, it was worth seeing.
When she arrived at PDX Healing Massage, Hailey was waiting by the reception desk holding a small wooden box.
"You are NOT going to believe this," Hailey said.
"That's usually not a good sign," Neesie replied.
Hailey opened the box.
Inside were seven folded pieces of paper.
Each had a name written on it.
Sarah.
Amanda.
Earl.
Aiden.
Hailey.
Renee.
Neesie.
"Those are all of us," Neesie said."Open one."
Hailey unfolded Sarah's.
Inside was a single word:
Comfort
Amanda's said:
Calm
Earl's:
Strength
Aiden's:
Restoration
Hailey's:
Renewal
Renee's:
Nurturing
Then Neesie opened hers.
Blank.
Nothing.
Not a single word.
Hailey frowned.
"That's weird."
Before Neesie could respond, something slipped from the bottom of the box.
A photograph.
An old team photo from years ago.
Everyone was smiling.
On the back was a handwritten note:
"When people forget the value they bring, they slowly fade into the background of their own story."
The room fell silent.
"Okay," Hailey said.
"Now I'm officially creeped out."
Just then, a text message appeared on Neesie's phone.
Unknown number.
The message read:
"Ask Renee about the journal."
At that exact moment, the front door opened.
No one was there.
But lying on the floor was an old leather journal.
Embossed on the cover:
Dream Team
Then, Neesie looked back at the photograph, she noticed something she hadn't seen before.
Standing in the background was a familiar figure.
The stranger.
Watching from a distance.
Years before anyone remembered meeting them.
WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN NEXT?
A → Open the journal immediately
B → Find Renee first
C → Gather the entire Dream Team

You chased the stranger!
Episode Three: The Stranger in the Rain
Neesie hesitated for half a second.
Then -
“Wait!” she called.
The stranger was already halfway down the sidewalk.
Rain misted the air.
Coffee still warm in Neesie’s hand.
And somehow, the stranger never seemed to walk faster but stayed just far enough ahead.
Past a little neighborhood café.
Across the street.
Toward the bridge.
Every time Neesie thought she’d catch up, the stranger turned a corner.
Gone.
Then suddenly, they were there again.
Waiting.
Like they wanted to be followed.
Finally -
The stranger stopped at a covered bench.
Without turning around, they said:
“You’re asking the wrong question.”
Neesie froze.
“What are you talking about?”
The stranger placed something on the bench.
An envelope.
Of course.
Then quietly said:
“This was never about who’s hiding something.”
A pause.
“It’s about what’s been forgotten.”
Before Neesie could say another word, a TriMet train rumbled past.
Just for a second.
And when it cleared, the stranger was gone.
Completely gone.
Only the envelope remained.
Inside:
Seven tiny puzzle pieces.
And one note:
“Find what connects the team.”
At the bottom, one name was underlined:
Hailey
On the back of one of the puzzle pieces, tiny handwriting appeared:
“The heart of the team still doesn’t see itself.”
Just then, Neesie’s phone buzzed.
Three texts.
Hailey:
"Okay this is weird but… I found something."
Amanda:
"Please tell me you're not chasing mysterious people."
Renee:
"Neesie. Call me immediately."
WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN NEXT?
A → Go see Hailey
B → Call Renee first
C → Bring the clue back to Amanda

You followed Earl!
Episode Two: The Coffee Clue
Earl was waiting in a nearby coffee shop.
Completely calm, cool and collected.
“You got the envelope,” he said.
Not a question.
A fact.
“How did you know?” Neesie asked.
Earl smiled.
“Because this happened once before.”
Before Neesie could respond, Earl slid a folded napkin across the table.
Written on it:
'Healing begins with listening.'
On the back was a sketch of a rose.
And one word:
'Renee'
Then Earl lowered his voice.
“You should know…strange things are happening around the clinic after hours.”
Suddenly, a brooding stranger leaving the coffee shop dropped something.
A key.
Attached to it was a note:
‘DON’T TRUST THE FIRST CLUE.’
The stranger looked back and whispered, "You're already behind."
WHAT SHOULD NEESIE DO?
A → Chase the stranger
B → Call Renee
C → Go back to PDX Healing Massage

THE DREAM TEAM MYSTERY
A Choose Your Own Adventure
Something strange is happening at PDX Healing Massage.
And somehow, Neesie is at the center of it.
COMMENT YOUR CHOICE to decide Episode Two!
Episode 1: The Envelope
It was one of those classic Portland mornings.
Rain tapping the windows.
Coffee in hand.
The city still half asleep.
Neesie unlocked the door to PDX Healing Massage expecting a normal morning.
But something definitely felt off.
Soft music drifted from the hallway.
And sitting perfectly centered on the front desk was an envelope.
No stamp.
No name.
Just seven tiny, pressed flowers... one for every member of the Dream Team: Sarah, Amanda, Earl, Aiden, Hailey, Renee, and Neesie.
Inside was a handwritten note:
“The Dream Team has forgotten something important.”
Below it:
“Find the clues before Friday.”
Attached was an old photo of the St. Johns Bridge, with one word written across the bottom:
"BEGIN"
Then, Neesie felt her phone buzz.
Three messages arrived at the exact same time.
Sarah:
"Meet me. I think I know something."
Amanda:
"Come to my room. Something weird happened."
Earl:
"You should probably see this."
Before Neesie could move, the front door opened.
No one there.
Just a second envelope on the floor.
Written on the second envelope:
“Not everyone is telling the whole story.”
YOU CHOOSE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:
A → Meet Sarah
B → Go to Amanda’s room
C → Follow Earl

Mother’s Day means something different to everyone.
For some, it’s celebration. For others, reflection. And sometimes it’s both at once. 💛
This weekend, we’re celebrating all the nurturing souls out there... moms, grandmas, chosen family, caregivers, and the people who somehow always know how to show up for others.
If someone in your life could use a little extra care this weekend, a massage is a beautiful way to say, “You deserve some care too.”
A little time to relax, unwind, and simply breathe can go a long way.
Happy Mother’s Day weekend from all of us at PDX Healing Massage!
