Ostara blessing. We made a simple, but beautiful altar yesterday. And I visited a friend— who has a gorgeous yard full of fruit trees and plants vibrantly awakening.
These photos are of our altar at our hearth..and photos if our yard as it is right now…The magenta magnolias are cheerfully bursting, the weeping forsythia commands attention, and the Hawthorn has started its fragile, bright green leaves. There are also countless white snow drops and daffodils and Poet’s Narcissus. Truly, this is a time of transformation and new beginnings. The turning of the wheel never stops, but never is it more new and hopeful than at Ostara (and Beltane, coming up next.
Blessed be, beautiful souls. Shine and empower.

🤩 Ooo! That time of year again—my beloved Witch Hazel Tree sizzles with its fiery blooms!
One of my most anticipated blooms of the year has been showing off! Painfully brief blooming time, but this bright burst of firework 💥 colors is a most welcome sight in winter. What a strange flower. So beautiful. Like firecrackers/works, like sea anemones, like little curly yellow ribbons tinged with reddish-orange at the base.
This is absolutely one of my favorite trees of all time, besides dogwood, mimosa, juniper, hawthorn, monkey puzzles, eucalyptus, birch, and bay laurel.
Witch Hazel is best known as a wonderful astringent for the skin and a fabulous rubbing alcohol antiseptic alternative. But most people have no idea witch hazel features such magnificently unique flowers!
🌿 🪴 🌿 Witch Hazel symbolism: self care, self worth, divination, physical endurance, and protection from infection. 🌿🪴🌿
Fun fact: We use witch hazel in all of our aromatherapy and tonic spritzers!

February is the month for one of our most haunting, most enchanting scents!…STORM MOON. 🌕
Oh yes! You’re gonna wanna read all about this…
Storm Moon honors the February winter moon, the end of cold weather approaches as visions of flowers, renewal, and slumbering seeds begin to sway in our minds. The scent is Black Oud and it smells like musky sandalwood, bright pink roses, and a subtle fruity layer which later merge with vanilla and an overall earthy, amber vibe. The February Moon is also known as the Ice Moon or the Snow Moon.

This delightful full moon creation is available in phthalate-free roll-on perfume oil. One potent potion bottle lasts a very long time!

Here it is—already February 3rd! 😮 This was my Imbolc altar from Imbolc Eve.
Honoring fire, water, late winter/early spring flowers from the yard, pink, yellow, white, garnet, onyx, clear and rose quartz, bay laurel, cinnamon, rosemary, and poetry. Asking sweet Brigid for healing and protection.
Imbolc Day, I burned handwritten messages with pine cones and needles from Yule, fed wild birds and one of the many homeless rabbits in our neighborhood, cleansed myself with rosemary and various conifer smoke, stood in the rain, spoke to the trees, read poetry, wrote, and gathered rain water in a bowl.
I called on Saint Brigid, whom I feel a very strong connection with, and I could feel her lighten my load. (and following day, she led me to an unexpected and sudden act of self-care).
Blessed be. So mote it be. May we all know peace, healing, protection, creativity, abundance, calming strength, and equanimity in 2026–and always.
Featured poetry books are by Emily Dickinson, Anna Journey , Brigit Pegeen Kelly, and an old book of haikus.

The last rose of the season is a bright beacon in our backyard… as beautiful in its tenacity as it is beautiful in its vibrancy.
Rose soothes nerves, inspires creativity, enhances beauty, and increases peaceful vibes. It’s also overall cheerful and comforting. Roses also represent hope, new beginnings, joy, beauty, and love.
Rose 🌹 is one of our favorite ingredients and it’s prominently featured in our popular Raining Roses spray (find it in our Etsy shop). It’ll transport you right back to the first days of spring.

I’m completely immersed in the enchantment of autumn! 🍂 It’s cozy weather time. Our scents are the perfect way to enhance the spirit and vibe of each season…
This month’s full moon roll-on scent is fresh, clean, warm, spicy, herbal, oaky, and very evergreeny! 🌲💚🌲
Featured here:
Dark Moon: November autumn moon, as the transition to colder weather and shorter hours of daylight continues, the time for quiet introspection begins. Brisk walks in crisp air among autumnal and evergreen trees, steaming cups of hot herbal tea, as perineal gardens rest and retreat. The scent is Basil Coriander Pepper Sage and it merges notes of chamomile, geranium, pine, juniper, vetiver, oak moss, musk, and cedar for an all around sharp, fresh, earthy, herbal clean scent that warms to a musky amber. The November Moon is also known as the Beaver Moon, Snow Moon, or Tree Moon.

The first quarter/waxing gibbous moon over the Pacific Ocean last week. Hypnotic. Powerful. Entrancing.

Blood Moon: Honoring the spectacular occurrence when the moon turns a reddish hue during a total lunar eclipse. This is our October offering from our Full Moon Fragrances line.
The scent is Neroli and it smells like orange blossoms, a sharp and clean floral. Very unique. This is definitely one of our most popular roll-on scents!
Sometimes the October moon is specifically referred to as the Blood Moon (as well as Hunter’s Moon). Or we occasionally get a blood moon in December or January. But that can vary.
