**UPDATE: Because I had nothing to do with the painter/painting that happened eight years ago, they didn't clean, sand, scrape, caulk or even put two coats on this bitch. They painted over crusty, bubbled-over paint and crumbling drywall and it looked like s**t. People, I beg of you, insist upon seeing a contractor's past work and get references, and tell them specifically what you need.**

WHY do I do this to myself? I try to do my own home repairs and maintenance because I'm frugal, and because I'm capable, but this sucks.

I love to do what I call "Thematic Appointments". Explanation: my first client came in today and told me that she's going to NOLA this weekend, so I immediately requested music by Dr. John. Next client came in and told me that she is going to a baby's first birthday party on Saturday. "Alexa, play music by The Babys". T'was a good time.

Friends! Look at my former foster cat, Garçon! Hearing from his mom Annabelle Jarvis with recent photos made my whole day! He was a scrapper and he loved to tussle, but he's mellowed in his adult life. Autumn Marie, thank you for trusting me with that little chonk of a kitten! Happy ending!!

All things must pass, but it doesn't mean that I have to like it. I'm so sorry, little baby. I hope that you pierced the veil, softly and quickly.
