I have a passion for fitness and have found new joy in helping ALL ages get out of pain using the ME Who doesn't want to feel better in their own body?

Mary trained directly with Sue Hitzmann, the creator of the MELT Method. She loved how the MELT Method made her body feel, so couldn't wait to share MELT with her clients and groups. "Get out of pain and feel better now!"

Mary couldn't get enough of Melting. She's certified as a Hand and Foot instructor, Full MELT Instructor and MELT on Pilates. Positive feedback from clients continues to drive M

MELT vs Foam Rolling

In MELT, we actually don't "roll" on the MELT Soft Roller very much.

Traditional Foam Rolling was designed to help restore blood flow to muscles by heavy compression force. It also claims to restore the action of the golgi tendon organs and improve muscle strength.

MELT isn’t a technique to simply restore blood flow to the muscular network. It’s a technique to restore the fluid state of the ENTIRE collagen matrix that is found EVERYWHERE in the body – not just the “myofascial” layer in and around muscles.

If anything, we'd recommend MELTing before other mobility or foam rolling, and stretching techniques but many opt to use MELT Restore and Neurostrength techniques to tackle their pre-fitness goals and reduce or prevent chronic pain in the first place.

Nope, these points aren't based on reflexology-they're based on myofascial meridians. When you do position point pressing when practicing the MELT foot treatment, you're:

👉 helping the brain figure out the position
of the joints in your body
👉 stimulating those myofascial meridians
👉 affecting way more than just your feet

Here's how MELT's creator, Sue Hitzmann, puts it: The position point pressing technique mobilizes the joints of the feet but also stimulates the myofascial meridians that create a seamless connection from head to toes and fingers.

When you MELT, you stimulate the connective tissue cells (not to mention your muscles and bones) but you also wake up the aspects of your nervous system that allow you to sense and feel your body while quieting down the stress levels.

Many people are surprised by how tender their hands and feet are, which is a sign of autopilot inefficiency and cellular dehydration.

If you only have a few moments a day for some self-care, the MELT foot treatment is so important and can make transformational changes that it's the one you should do!

There's even an entire Hand and Foot Collection on our streaming video service MELT On Demand!
