When Hair M opened in 2003, there were only a few options for men’s grooming and spa services, primarily basic barbershops, budget salons, and women-focused salons. Hair M’s founder, Celeste Trapp, recognized that men were being under served and set out to create one of the world’s first men’s grooming salons. Times have changed since then, but providing an exceptional experience to each and every guest continues to be Hair M’s primary mission. Clients can expect to consistently find friendly and professional stylists and barbers who specialize in men’s hair. Straight Razor shaves, waxing, facials, grey camo and massage are also offered to provide clients a relaxing, enjoyable experience for all of their grooming and spa needs.
Each of Hair M’s four locations (Downtown, Pearl District, Beaverton and Lake Oswego) offer 2 microbrews on tap, wine, Nossa Familia coffee, Tazo Tea, sparkling water, soda and juice. Clients can choose from a menu of services, from a classic cut and shampoo (The Traditional Cut), the signature King’s Cut with a 5 minute scalp massage, steam towel treatment and neck rub and for some serious pampering, The Platinum Cut, with a 10 minute scalp massage, arm and hand massage, steam towel treatment and neck rub. Our team of stylists have a career (not just a job) at Hair M and services are priced at a level rate to create a career path to help ensure our clients favorite stylists stay on the team. Clients who wish to stay at the same price point can rest assured that even if their long time stylist moves up and out of their price range, a newer stylist will be available with notes and support from their old stylist. It’s a win, win for everyone.
