Interview With A Vampire

Since Halloween is on a Saturday this year, I’m taking this very seriously 🤭 so I’m trying to put my costume together ASAP but I need help because idk what I wanna be this year.

I’ll have pink hair for Halloween this year so I’m basing my costume around that.

Please do the poll and let me know what you like or if you have other suggestions, please share in the comments!

What should I be for Halloween?

“Not at all men.”
You’re right, Gomez would NEVER 🥀

Just got back from the club and y’all…these men are why my ass stays at home because omg, toxic creepy men were in FULL FORCE tonight.

A random guy approached me, I’m minding my business, and he starts chatting me up. He later makes it clear that he finds me attractive and wants to explore something.

Me: bro, I’ve literally been here for 5 minutes. We just met and I don’t know. I just want to party with my girls like slow down.

Well he thought he was up for the task to try to be my man 🤷🏾‍♀️ but dude lowkey harassed me, kinda stalked me throughout the club, danced on me and then tried to physically grab me to go home with him like 😳

Another guy grabbed my hair as I leaving the club to get my attention. Mind you, I have long braids and he grabbed it to the point where I had to turn to look because he held onto my hair. A random stranger and he’s lucky I wasn’t in the mood to tell him the f**k off.

This doesn’t even cover everything like the audacity was wild tonight!!

Just because a girl is being friendly, it doesn’t mean that she wants to f**k you 🤬 Women don’t owe you a f**king thing and you are NOT entitled to our time or our bodies. If we’re interested in you, we will use our words and let you know. But if we ain’t interested, we ain’t interested!!! Let it go and keep it moving. But a lot of y’all be sketch when it comes to rejection to the point where a girl no longer feels safe.

With bar/club culture, cat calling, street harassment, the Cornell 7 & so much more, this is exhausting and the good men out there, yall gotta step it up and check your homeboys.

“Being a woman in this world is a violent experience.”

Men claim to be lonely and ask where are the girls that want to settle down. WE’RE STAYING HOME because yall don’t know how to act right or treat a lady. It’s seriously wild.

I didn’t let men’s bu****it f**k up my night. I continued to dance the night away but yall men really need to look at yourselves and ask yourselves why won’t give you the time of day.

What’s scarier than skulls & bones?
These men on the dating apps 🫣

BABY, where the HELL is my husband?! Part 13?

I matched with a man who claimed that he was looking for his life partner so I’m assuming he’s being serious.

We matched. Introduced ourselves and then…he unmatched me 🙃

Glad he didn’t waste my time which yay for that but also what the f**k?! We didn’t even have a real conversation before he ghosted me like 🤦🏾‍♀️

Dating is exhausting so if you’re in a happy relationship, please check in on your single friends. Especially with the holidays around the corner, it can sometimes be a dark time for singles.

Stay sexy and get a boo for cuffing season!

Over the summer, I moved 5 times.
I almost faced houselessness.
I left my job to start a business with little to no funds.
I lost a couple of family members and the drama that followed was VERY ugly.
I almost went to court against a property management company. Even though my case was dismissed, I’m still getting harassed.

I dealt with ALL of this and more while also competing for the state pageant for the FIRST time!

And I still did that. I walked that f**king stage and did the damn thing. Even though I had to fight and claw my way through so much bu****it, I still showed up and showed the f**k out.

I’m so f**king proud of myself because there were times where I wanted to quit. There were times when I thought maybe this pageant life wasn’t for me.

But the universe really showed that anything is possible. And now I’m a firm believer that miracles do happen. They certainly did for me. I’m living proof because I would not have made it the stage were it not for miracles, my perseverance and the support of so many awesome people.

Anything is possible ✨

Still not over pageant weekend and really, just Queen life in general.

Y’all I saw the mayor and got an official letter signed by him congratulating us and supporting the Miss Black Oregon Pageant.

I went to Portland Fashion Week! And 8 Sec Rodeo 🤯

I fricken met Poison Waters who later helped me find my evening gown.

Like this has been truly amazing but the best part has been the love & support from the community and the incredible women I’ve met along the way.

I’m just so thankful 🥹
