Denise’s Daily Instruction from God

So it’s been a day or three since I’ve posted so let’s explore this…
Imagine this is God talking to you…

“There is no place so desolate that you cannot find Me there. “
Hagar addressed Me as THE LIVING ONE WHO SEES ME.
No set of circumstances could ever isolate you from My living Presence.
I see you as a redeemed saint, gloriously radiant in My righteousness.
That’s why I take great delight in you and rejoice over you with singing 🎶!

“ you discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.” Psalm 139:3

 For most of my life I compartmentalized my roles but God doesn’t. He’s restoring the fullness of who I am. Not fragmented or fractured but a whole being coming back together. When God calls us to a vocation inside or outside the home all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to his purpose! romans chapter 8:28

It’s the breadth of the still and quiet moments, without hiding. There’s still risk, work, and offering something to the world. But in the tension, the music is made. This is the fullness. God calls too.

I’m asking God what he intends for my life. Is this a season for stepping out to risk new ventures? Perhaps I need to slow down and enter the quiet respite of Home? Whatever the invitation ask God to meet you in the cadence, whether going or slowing. These are all places God dwells.

“ love one another as I have loved you”
May seem impossible to do, but if you will try to trust and believe, great are the joys that you will receive. For love makes us patient, understanding, and kind, and we judge with their hearts, and not our minds, for as soon as love enters the hearts, open door, the fault we once saw are not there anymore -and the things that seem wrong begin to look right when viewed in the softness of love’s gentle light. For love Work and ways that are wondrous and strange, and there is nothing in life that love cannot change, and all that God promised will someday come true when you love one another the way He loved you.

Although my perspective is radically altered, now I am aware that it isn’t my job to start telling everybody how grateful they should be. But I do know that for me, gratitude has made my life much happier. It is also acted as a magnet for blessings;the more grateful I’ve become, the more I’ve had to be grateful for. But all, finally, is a gift of God, and we ourselves are the finest of his gifts. Our gift to God is our gratitude.

Recently, I was hospitalized because I had a stroke. Praise God it turned out to be a small one! However, the doctors have warned me that it’s not a matter of, if but when I have a major stroke. That day, I fussed, stressed and cried. The next morning, a song came on the radio I believe it was sent from God. It was Phil Wickham and the song was called. You’ve already won. And oh my goodness the amazing lyrics! I learned I was fighting a battle that God has already won! Why was I doing that? And so I stopped, and I turned it over to my Lord. I laid my worry at the foot of the cross where it belonged. And God has given me such peace and joy every morning that I wake up. Will you join me in laying our worries at the foot of the cross And stop fighting a battle that God has already won? Join me in the peace and joy. He gives us every new day. And praise him and thank him every single day!

This is the basis for all faith! Isn’t He faithful to us? How then can we be less than faithful to him? Just use faith the size of a mustard seed 😁🩷

I’m sorry I haven’t been here a while. I’m afraid I have let life and it’s disappointment get in the way. But I wanted to share something tonight so important. Here is a picture of what I journaled tonight. Please read and let me know your opinion/questions

it appears that Fishermans Marine and outdoor has decided to close the hunting department in both Tigard and Delta Park. This means that my husband is out of a job after 26 years with Fishermans Marine the new owners have decided to make changes that are going to negatively affect not only the hunting industry, but the people that they employ

Eugene Patterson said “salvation means the healing and the rescue of a body that is brought back to the way it was intended. “

The joy of Christ becomes our joy! Joy is not the absence of darkness. Joy is confidence that the darkness will lift. Living in the joy and celebration that God has freed you to live will reveal the places in your life that are in need of healing. Ask him to lead you to joy, and then watch for the ways that he answers you!

In my own life lately, I’m faced with many dilemmas, both personal and spiritual. I felt robbed of my joy. And then I remembered I have already earned that unconditional love! All I had to do was ask Jesus to be my savior. Many many years ago God gave me that unconditional love. Sometimes I forget that it is unconditional.

So really the verse for today is John chapter 15 verse 11

“These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full “

Thank you, God/Jesus for your unconditional love. And please, Lord, may I never forget that love! 💕 Amen
