Just a heads up—I only have openings next Sunday. I'll be getting my epidural steroid shot on Monday and will be out, but I'm hopeful this will help resolve my lingering leg pain. Prayers and good vibes are much appreciated! 🙏💖

Thank you all so so very much for checking on me and being patient with me through this all. I have not wanted to give a false update but I am tired of waiting.

Today is a big day for me as I have my follow-up MRI appointment. I am filled with excitement and hope that the doctor will give me the green light for more activities like working, bending over ect. The past weeks of physical therapy have been challenging, but I've been pushing through in hopes of getting this leg pain under control. Wish me luck! 🍀

Even while out, I'm dedicated to helping my clients on their skincare journey! A client's mother reached out to me with concerns about her son's worsening acne and his interest in Accutane. Instead of jumping straight to medication, I suggested a more gradual approach. I recommended products, peels, and facials to start, but unfortunately had to undergo back surgery unexpectedly. Despite that, they sent me his 2-week progress pictures and mentioned how great it looks in person. Thrilled with the results, they are! I'll continue guiding them on their skincare journey over the phone. DM me if you want to start your clear acne journey over the phone! 💫

Update: Week one post-op has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs. The recovery process is slow but steady. Feeling incredibly grateful for all the love, support, prayers, meals, and gifts from everyone. Thank you all! 🙏 Excited to have my LED Therapy home to help speed up healing and get back to my normal activities. Taking this time to focus on strengthening those core muscles I've neglected. One week down, two more to go until my reevaluation and hopefully get the green light for driving again. Stay tuned for more updates! 💪 "

Dear friends and clients,

I wanted to update you all on what happened to me last Friday. While I was on vacation, I suddenly experienced a sharp pain in my back/leg area. Initially, I thought it was just a severe leg cramp, but as the pain persisted and worsened, I knew something was not right. I finally decided to seek medical help and went to see a doctor with the expectation of getting muscle relaxers and pain medication.

To my surprise, by 9:30 AM, the doctor informed me that I had slipped a disk, and the bulge was pressing on nerves, causing the intense pain and numbness. The doctor expressed concern that the pressure on the nerves might be causing further inflammation and potential damage. They recommended that I be transferred to a hospital with a neurosurgeon who could address my case.

I was then transported by ambulance to CC Hospital, where I received treatment including pain medication, steroids, and anti-inflammatory medication. I have been admitted to the hospital for further observation and care.

As a result, I will be out of work this week for sure, and I am still uncertain about when I will be able to return. Tomorrow, I will have more information about my condition and the next steps in my treatment plan. If any of you were scheduled to work with me and are open to having Jennifer take over, please schedule with her in the meantime.
