Every now and then I like to take a quick pause from sharing magical makings of jewelry, teas & art to highlight wellness goods easily done in your kitchen ⭐ ... Today felt a good day to talk a little about Kefir.

In the first picture, I'm showing you my absolute love for kefir smoothies in the summertime 🌞 so easy to pop in a mason jar and save for later when you need a fresh fruit boost. So what is kefir?

Kefir is a fermented drink that you create using kefir grains, which are different strains of live bacteria. Kefir grains like to feed and multiply off of dairy products... I like to use half and half, but sometimes I will use whole milk. Allowing the bacteria to feed on the dairy in a room temperature environment creates a yogurt. The second picture shows my baby eating 🐄 mine goes fairly fast, so after about a day to two... There is a fresh yogurt available to put in the fridge and utilize how you like! I like to use kefir for digestion benefits, providing good gut bacteria for my system. Makes for a great breakfast 🪄
