A huge thank you to Justine Kahn and the Botnia team for another inspiring workshop. From Marcelline Goyen’s discussion on the skin-gut axis to a deeper look at the microbiome, pH, and how Botnia’s formulations interact with the skin, there was so much to take in.

After 20+ years in this industry, this evolution in skincare is incredibly exciting. We’re learning more about supporting the skin’s natural environment rather than constantly trying to correct it, and how much that can change the way we approach skin health.

I’m heading back into the treatment room inspired, curious, and with plenty to share. 🌱

A few little things can make a big difference before your facial. ✨

Give retinol and exfoliating products a rest for 3–5 days beforehand, and let us know about any medications, recent procedures, injections, irritation, cold sores or unexpected skin changes. When in doubt, a quick check-in before your appointment is always best.

Get your workout in first, take out your contacts if you can, silence the phone and give yourself a little breathing room afterward.

Then simply show up, settle in and let us take it from there. 💛
