Just because the handle is Katelin Knows Blonde doesn't mean I don't love doing all colors!

A little story behind why I chose Katelin Knows Blonde. When I started out in the beauty industry over a decade ago there was this idea that you couldn't have blonde hair without excessive damage. I listened to clients tell stories about being left under dryers while stylist were double and triple booked,harsh lighteners being used and toners were rarely used. This made me realize how healthy blonding was something that was unheard of and desperately needed.

I decided that I was going to market myself as a stylist who prioritized not only the goals of each client but the health of the hair. In my 10+ years behind the chair I have worked to build a reputation for only using the best lightner, toners and products available to professionals. I have made the choice not to double book clients, to be transparent with pricing, aftercare, expectations and to always start every appointment with a thorough consultation.

With all of that said, healthy blonding might be a favorite but that doesn't mean it's the only color service I offer and enjoy. I care just as much about the other shades of color and put in just as much effort into delivering at those appointments.
