It’s been a tallow kind of day!! We are so thankful for our discovery of an East Coast ranch where we source our grass fed tallow. It’s the best suet (not trim fat) tallow I’ve found and it’s born, raised and rendered in the USA!! 🙌🏻❤️🇺🇸

In the spirit of our Purpose Driven Skincare philosophy, we have added a new variety of bath time bliss! A host of botanicals, goat milk powder, oat powder, Epsom and dendritic salts and then some! Everything you need for an incredibly healthy bath time is packed into this pouch! Each comes with a disposable (but reusable) tea bag to avoid botanicals down the drain (and a bunch of clean up!) We know you can choose from countless small businesses and large companies for your skincare needs so want to give you products that are set apart from the rest. This is why we have expanded our use of infusions. Not just oils, not just tallow. Not just ordinary…but extraordinary!! So here’s some answers to some frequently asked questions we have been getting…

❓What is a botanical oil infusion?

During an oil infusion, certain lipophilic (oil-soluble) plant compounds migrate from the dried botanical into the oil. Depending on the herb, these can include carotenoids, some flavonoids/polyphenols, phytosterols, terpenoids and other lipid-soluble constituents.

❓What does that do for my skin care?

Well - we can’t make any claims or promises. But it makes sense that some of the amazing properties in these plants, roots and flowers getting transferred to the oil that’s in our products could only be a benefit! At least that’s how we look at it.

❓Why do we infuse jojoba oil and is it visibly changed afterwards?

Jojoba is rich in wax esters similar to those naturally found in the skin’s sebum which makes it a fervent choice for max benefit delivery of the botanicals and the oil itself. It’s lightweight and an excellent emollient forming a light protective layer on the skin.

And YES! The changes are apparent! It smells wonderful, takes on a depth in color and the feel is heavenly!

💛 We don’t simply add botanicals for decoration. They have a specific purpose. We slowly infuse carefully selected herbs into our oils allowing the oil to capture beneficial oil-soluble plant compounds before those oils become part of our skin-care formulations.

💛 Infusions add extra steps and additional time to our production process but we think you are worth it!

Ya’ll been hitting the tallow hard so we had to put on another pot of vanilla today. It’ll infuse for a couple days on low and then go through its straining process - although we’ll leave the caviar. And it also will have our new blend of botanicals as well. Love when it’s time to make this.

The ingredients were carefully chosen and each has a purpose in the formula. We are absolutely thrilled with what this product has to offer your skin. ✨Baobab Oil — Nourish & Soften - rich in oleic and linoleic fatty acids
✨Shea Nut Oil — Deep Moisture & Conditioning. Locks In Moisture.
(Shea nut oil is the liquid fraction of shea butter. It gives this oil serum a richer, more cushioned feel and a smooth spread. It’s particularly nice for dry skin.)
Essential oils:
💧Ho - Wood: calming character and naturally very high in linalool which has demonstrated antioxidant and antimicrobial activity in laboratory research
💧Tangerine: Creates an uplifting sensory experience and contains limonene, which has demonstrated antioxidant activity in experimental research. (generally regarded as non-phototoxic)
💧Frankincense: warm, resinous, slightly earthy is known to be grounding and contains aromatic compounds with demonstrated antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity in laboratory research.
