Good cuticle + nail prep is one of the most important parts of any overlay service. Proper prep removes all that dead tissue from the nail plate, cleans up the cuticle area, and creates a clean surface for your product to properly adhere to.
Why does that matter?
• Better retention
• Less lifting
• Cleaner, smoother application
• Healthier looking natural nails underneath
• And that crisp cuticle area we LOVE!
This is also why I don’t rush through prep. The tiny details you barely notice during your appointment can make a HUGE difference in how your nails look and wear over the next several weeks.
The nail art might be the fun part, but good prep is what makes the whole set work and worth it. 🤎
