All the reals on fantasy “mermaid” hair.. 🧜🏾‍♀️ and what clients may not understand when it comes to the process, price, how long it actually lasts, and how well it fades. So here’s a step by step breakdown of my color over the course of one month. 💕
1. Bleach re-touch, roots only. 1 big bowl of lightener with Brazilian Bond Builder 2 hours @ $200+$40tip
2. 6 tubes Pulpriot color. (Fades the prettiest) 3 hours of stylist’s creative freedom @ $250+$50 tip
3. Purchased Pulpriot color-safe Bangkok shampoo & Tokyo conditioner $60 along with Brazilian Color Lock $38 and Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo $26 + Moroccanoil OG $48
4. I washed my hair roughly every 5 days. Dry shampoo is my bestie 😍
5. I celebrated the 4th of July in the sun all day, hung out in a pool, floating on a raft with a delicious cocktail and possible salt water pool splashes in my weave and had a couple beach days with my main squeeze and my roll dog.
6. After every outdoor shenanigans day was when I washed my hair. Followed with the Moroccanoil OG. I don’t do a lot of heat styling, but I make sure I use the proper hydrating products. 💦
7. Moral of the story! I have an investment of $712 that lasts 4 weeks. (And I’m a natural blonde, so this would not be the case for darker hair) 🌈 Fantasy is not for everyone, but everyone should know the up-keep and time it takes to have fu**in amazing hair 💁🏼‍♀️Hair by
