Changing Your Hair? Don't Forget To Check Your Season!

The world of hair color is ever-evolving, with new trends emerging every year. In 2024, the most popular hair colors showing up are Honey Blonde, Strawberry Blonde, Cowgirl Copper, and Caramel Brunette. Here are a few details about these trending colors.

Honey Blonde
Honey Blonde is a warm, rich shade that brings a touch of sunshine to your hair. It’s a versatile color that suits a variety of skin tones and can brighten up your look regardless of the season.

Strawberry Blonde
Strawberry Blonde is a beautiful blend of warm red and golden blonde. It’s a unique shade that stands out in any crowd and adds a touch of whimsy to your style.

Cowgirl Copper
Cowgirl Copper is a vibrant, earthy shade that’s making waves in 2024. This color is perfect for those who want to make a bold statement with their hair. It’s a warm, rich color that can add depth and dimension to your locks.

Caramel Brunette
Caramel Brunette is a deep, rich color that adds a touch of sophistication to your look. This shade is perfect for those who want a subtle change without straying too far from natural brunette tones.

As you know hair color plays a significant role in defining your season.
Your hair color can impact your season, which refers to the set of colors that best compliment your overall complexion. For instance, if you have a warm complexion and dye your hair a cool platinum blonde, you now possess both warm and cool attributes to your personal coloring. This change can affect the colors that suit you best, shifting your season.

It’s important to note that while your hair color can influence your season, it doesn’t always change it. Your season is determined by a combination of factors. It's important that when you alter your hair color you learn if it's effected your season, and what you can do to enhance it with the correct makeup and clothing style.

Wearing The Right Red For Your Season

Red is a bold and beautiful color that can make any outfit pop. But not all reds are created equal. Depending on your skin tone, hair color, and eye color, some shades of red may suit you better than others. That’s why it’s important to know your season and how to wear red for your season.
What is Your Season?

Your season is a way of categorizing your coloring based on how warm or cool, light or dark, and clear or muted it is. There are four main seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Each season has its own palette of colors that harmonize with your natural features and enhance your appearance.

To find out your season, you can take a the Color Me Beautiful Color quiz online, you can look at some examples, or you can consult a color analyst. My favorite way to keep up with my season is the Color Me Beautiful AI Analysis. It's simple easy, quick and accurate when finding your season. Here are some general guidelines to help you:

Spring: You have a warm, light, and clear coloring. Your skin is fair to medium, with golden or peachy undertones. Your hair is blonde, strawberry blonde, light brown, or red, with natural highlights. Your eyes are blue, green, hazel, or light brown.
Summer: You have a cool, light, and muted coloring. Your skin is fair to medium, with pink or blue undertones. Your hair is blonde, ash blonde, light brown, or gray, with no warm tones. Your eyes are blue, gray, green, or cool brown.
Autumn: You have a warm, dark, and muted coloring. Your skin is medium to dark, with golden, olive, or bronze undertones. Your hair is brown, auburn, chestnut, or black, with red or golden highlights. Your eyes are brown, green, hazel, or amber.
Winter: You have a cool, dark, and clear coloring. Your skin is fair to dark, with pink, olive, or ebony undertones. Your hair is brown, black, or platinum blonde, with no warm tones. Your eyes are blue, gray, green, or dark brown.

How to Wear Red for Your Season

Once you know your season, you can choose the best shade of red for you. Here are some examples of how to wear red for your season, and how to accessorize it with different color accessories to make it work.

Spring: You look best in warm, bright, and clear reds, such as coral, tomato, poppy, or scarlet. Avoid cool, dark, and muted reds, such as burgundy, maroon, or wine. To accessorize, you can use gold or silver jewelry, white or beige shoes and bags, or other colors from your spring palette, such as yellow, green, or turquoise.
Summer: You look best in cool, light, and muted reds, such as rose, raspberry, cranberry, or cherry. Avoid warm, dark, and clear reds, such as brick, rust, or fire engine. To accessorize, you can use silver or white gold jewelry, gray or navy shoes and bags, or other colors from your summer palette, such as lavender, blue, or mint.
Autumn: You look best in warm, dark, and muted reds, such as burgundy, maroon, wine, or mahogany. Avoid cool, light, and clear reds, such as candy, fuchsia, or ruby. To accessorize, you can use gold or bronze jewelry, brown or tan shoes and bags, or other colors from your autumn palette, such as orange, olive, or teal.
Winter: You look best in cool, dark, and clear reds, such as ruby, crimson, claret, or blood. Avoid warm, light, and muted reds, such as coral, salmon, or rose. To accessorize, you can use silver or platinum jewelry, black or white shoes and bags, or other colors from your winter palette, such as purple, emerald, or royal blue.

Red is a versatile and flattering color that can work for any season, as long as you choose the right shade and accessories. By knowing your season and how to wear red for your season, you can create stunning outfits that showcase your personality and style. So go ahead and rock that red dress, shirt, skirt, or pants, and enjoy the compliments!
