Proper lash isolation is often the most difficult part of the lashing process yet is the most crucial for the health of your natural lashes. It’s a tedious process, but if 9 years of lashing has taught me anything—it’s always worth it! No stickies welcome here. 👋🏻

LOL you all know who you are. 😉💕 For not only the best lash retention, but the health of your natural lashes:

- NO PICKING! 🙅‍♀️ Extensions will not rip your natural lashes out, but YOU certainly can. (Tip: We also carry so many natural oils on our fingers, that when you touch and mess with your lashes, that oil has more opportunity to break down the adhesive. Also, germs. 😬)

- NO MASCARA! ❌ Even if it’s an non-oil based makeup, you should not be putting mascara on your extensions. It causes them to clump together which results in you actually LOSING volume. It’s hard to fully remove, which means you either have to be REALLY hard on your lashes or leave behind clumps and residue. 🥴 (That I get to clean off at your next appointment.)

- NO OILY PRODUCTS! 🛑 This is the most common issue with lash retention. You should not be using oil based makeup or makeup remover on or around your extensions. Oil breaks down the adhesive and weakens the bond to your natural lashes. Keep those bad boys clean and be extremely mindful of what you’re using on and around them!

- BE CAREFUL! 🤷‍♀️ There’s only so much you can do when you fall asleep, but just be aware that if you’re a face sleeper (like me 😬) that your lashes probably won’t hold up as well as a back sleeper. And just in general, be mindful about smashing, rubbing, or squishing them.
