Set a Goal: User can set an individual fundraising goal or invite buddies to set a team fundraiser.
The user selects the type of workout (bike/run/walk); the workout distance; the completion date. Select a Charity: User can select a charity to fundraise for from our select list of featured charities; or use the Charity Navigator powered search function to select from thousands of 501(c)3 status non-profits. Invite Sponsor: User can reach out to their friends, family, corporates, or even pledge donations for their goal themselves. These pledges will be processed after the goal is complete. Complete Goal: Running, biking, and walking workouts are tracked using the Charity Footprints mobile application. Money Donated: Once the goal distance is complete, transfer of pledged amounts to the selected charity will be processed through our payment processing partner Network For Good, an industry leader in Donor Advised Funds.

We’re happy to share that Appreci-a-thon 2026 has officially come to a close! 🎉
It was an incredible virtual race filled with energy, fun, and purpose, with participants collectively walking 7,600+ miles and raising $15,415 to support a meaningful cause. 🙌
