Our practice became part of Brown Health Medical Group in October 2025, and we’re excited to take the next step in this merger. On April 1, 2026, this social media account will close as we fully transition updates to the main Brown University Health page. This merger enhances care coordination, expands access, and unifies more than 1,500 providers to improve patient care across our community.
As Angela Caliendo, MD, PhD, Warren Alpert Foundation Professor and Executive Vice Chair of Medicine at Brown University and President of Brown Physicians, Inc., shared: “A key benefit of this merger for both patients and providers will be the integration of BPI practices into Brown Health’s electronic health record system.”

American Academy of Dermatology survey: half of Americans worry about skin aging, but many still skip sunscreen ROSEMONT, Ill. (May 6, 2025) — A recent American Academy of Dermatology survey of more than 1,000 U.S. adults found that half worry about premature skin aging and only half use sunscreen regularly, while nearly 1 in 4 don’t know it helps prevent early aging.
One in five Americans will be diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70, however taking the right precautions can significantly reduce your risk. Dr. Tiffany Libby, Director of Mohs Micrographic and Dermatologic Surgery, recently joined Barbara Morse on NBC 10 WJAR to discuss how to protect your skin as we head into summer.
