19 years ago I took a chance. I opened up Claudia Curl Salon on Hope Street not knowing much except that I wanted to do hair. It has been one the loves of my life. I thank all the stylist, and all the beautiful characters that have been in our chairs. It has been one hell of a time! As the 20 year mark looms, I’ve decided to relocate. I’m more than ecstatic to share the new space and to be able to continue making everyone feel their best. Thank you for the continued support, see you in the New Year at 60 Burlington St. (Off Hope) about 100 steps from where Claudia Curl used to be! ✂️

It has never been just about hair, right? My salon name bears my name, and I’ve worked hard to build a small business based on relationships and a sense of community. Claudia Curl Salon is closed and will remain closed until we know it is safe for our clients to return. That’s what you do for people you care about, right?
To the people who can’t put their own needs aside to keep everyone safe, we say: Cut it out. To our clients, who want to return to our salon, we say: Soon. Soon, we can cut it off.
Just because it’s a pandemic, it doesn’t mean we can’t have cute things.
We’re making a t-shirt to share that sentiment. They are made by and feature artwork by . $20 each and you can pre order s-xl. Unisex style, very soft. A lot of our neighbors are struggling. The Blue Cottage is a sweet little family-owned breakfast spot right next door to my salon. Because of health concerns the Munoz family can’t open for take-out, and their only source of income has been taken by this pandemic.
$5 from the sale of every t-shirt will go directly to the Munoz family. We’ve got to help one another because that is what makes us a community. I can’t wait to get back to work and to create some new looks with you. Until we can Cut it Off, we’ve got to just Cut it Out. Dm me for t-shirt! ✂️💙

Happy 17th Anniversary Claudia Curl Salon. A little sad today that I can’t celebrate in the salon by doing some hair. I miss everyone that has been a part of the salon and a part of our lives!
