FAQ:
Does it hurt?
- You are numbed for this treatment, some may feel nothing and others may feel uncomfortable. This treatment is absolutely tolerable, I have never had a client regret it!!
What is the downtime?
- For traditional microneedling, you will appear red/sunburnt for about 1/3 days and may slightly peel the 4/5 day. With Pro Restore you will appear red/sunburnt for 1/2 days and may experience peeling the 2/3 day. You MUST stay out of direct sunlight for 72 hours regardless of what microneedling treatment you receive.
When will I notice a difference?
- You typically notice a difference within 5/10 days, remember that it is recommended to receive at least 3 sessions to notice a dramatic result!
How long does it take?
-Micro-needling treatment takes about an hour and 15 minutes. This timeframe includes 20 minutes for topical numbing to be applied prior to treatment, the microneedling takes about 30 minutes and the pre-cleansing/finishing products take about 15/20 minutes.
How long do results from Microneedling results last?
- It is important to realize that we cannot stop the aging process, we can only slow it down. With this in mind, results are not considered permanent. Improvements from micro-needling can be seen for several years after treatment, and results can be prolonged with the correct at-home skincare maintenance.
