We love seeing all these beautiful AI generated portraits but with all the buzz surrounding apps like Lensa and PortraitAI we wanted to show our appreciation for local talented HUMAN artists.

As some of you may know, Headlines Main has spent the last year showing our support for the local art scene. With the help of our art curator Karen Foglesong at the Pueblo Arts Alliance we've had the pleasure of hosting extremely talented local artists such as Ginna A Po***ck, Albert Pachak and Eric Sarracino.

As sponsors of the Colorado State Fair Fine Arts Gallery we had the honor of awarding a piece displayed at the show and with our winner "Glitch Girl" we came in contact with this young wildly talented local artist.

Jessica Hair is a 26 year old artist well versed in several mediums including graphite and colored pencils, alcohol based markers, paints and 3D mediums. Our personal favorite though has to be her digital illustrations!

Currently we are hosting several of Jessica's framed prints for sale as part of our Local Vendor Holiday Program which includes merchandise from local businesses such as Boley's Bee Haven, Shimmer & Glimmer Creations and Handcrafted Stockings by Leslie Miller.

To show our support we have commissioned portraits of our entire staff and seeing as it's been awhile since we've introduced ourselves we'd like to take this opportunity to get reacquainted.

It only seems natural for the first portrait we post to be of our founder, Tiniesha Rasmussen.

Tiniesha "Tish" Rasmussen is a local legend. Founding Headlines as a single mother, Tish established a spaced fueled by innovation, creativity and top of the line service. She specializes in an advanced dry cutting technique called "Surface Planning", thin hair rejuvenation and visual blending. Although she has passed ownership to her daughter you can still find Tish passionately slinging color on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Seeing Jessica's passion and love for art has inspired all of us. Over the next couple weeks we will be posting our staffs commissioned portraits and we encourage everyone to check her out on Instagram!
