Hello beautiful souls. I will be on my big camping trip starting Aug 29 . I will be traveling up to lake Michigan, over the mighty Mack bridge and into the UP. I want to thank all my Michiganers this past season for recommending me to go to Michigan. Although I am extremely nervous about this trip I am also grateful and full of adventure. I will see you all in the shop Oct 13. That week is full however the next week is open for appointments. I am not traveling with my appointment book so I'll call and text anyone who still calls and needs appointments mid Oct when I get home. Thank you for supporting me and God bless you.

I will be cutting my hours in May. The first 2 weeks I will be traveling the mountain s in Tennessee and Georgia. Mid July I will be touring the panhandle for 2 weeks finishing up seeing that part of my birth state. Plans are to continue my dream of traveling to Upper Peninsula of Michigan to around lake Michigan and lake Superior. I plan the month of Sept. I have a van so I need to use it. Pray all goes well and everyone stays healthy. 💖

Update. Shelly has retired. She plans on moving to the beach in the panhandle soon. I wish her and John the best. I look forward to seeing them surfing on the emerald coast 😄

Update. At the shop. Allen is gone and we have a new barber. Jack. Jack works Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday Wednesday off. 9-3. Sat 9-1. In summer if he's not busy he may leave early 🤗 come on in walk ins welcomed. Cash only please and thank you.

Hello. Update on foot. Doc gave me 3 more weeks in boot. I was disappointed as I thought I would get time off for good behavior. Seems healing fractures in the foot doesn't really work that way.
Boo.
Thankful as I am for being alive this boot is exhausting at around 2 standing sitting moving around in it at work. I am working 5 days a week 8-5ish seasonal hours. Season is upon as and I am almost full for the month of February. I'm doing the best I can considering. Please don't expect to get an appointment the week you want . Give me 2 weeks or more notice in the month of February. It is our busiest month. I look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you.

Hello beautiful souls. I'm heading back to work and doing light duty keeping days a bit shorter than normal for me. I will be working 3 days a week until this boot comes off. Then I will go from there. If you wish to reschedule what was please let me know. If you wish to come in the future let me know and those who have an appointment between now and Feb 17 I believe I have called. I'm sorry if I have skipped someone. I am so sorry for any inconvenience I have caused you in your hair needs.
Going back will give me some normalcy and I care for my clients.
Thank you for all your prayers and the support you have given me in this trying time. God saved me. I saw a divine force in this accident it's the only reason how I am still here. I will shout his praise continuously.

Feb 17 is a date I am hopeful to return to the shop. I'm so sorry for any inconvenience I have caused any one in my absence. This is my busiest time of the year and I can't miss work. Yet I am. It's a frustrating day.
I will be texting the rest of my Jan appointment book. Again I am very sorry for all the inconvenience I may have caused you.

Hello . We have some help in the shop. His name is Jack he will keep the shop opened Saturday 9 am-4 and Mondays 8 am to 4 pm.
Be sure to come on in and tell your friends Jack will be helping the shop stay open through our season..

I am very sorry to tell you I will not be working tomorrow or the next few weeks Or more. I was hit by a truck yesterday at myakka St park .
I was sitting on a bench by the river in prayer! In prayer when I heard something very loud coming through a dense part of the forest behind me...an area that had no road just dense forest. It was a truck and he was coming so fast towards me a head on collision. He hit me and the bench I was sitting on. His truck flew over me and nose dived into myakka river. The bench I was on was glued to the front of that truck. And submerged into the water. I should of been killed. The truck caught my foot as I tried to get out of it's way. I am in shock and in a lot of pain. I am lucky to be alive and with only 4 breaks in my foot.
I had divine help that saved my life.
I apologize to you for not being able to work. I just got home from hospital and it's early to tell you when I will be able to return. I am so very sorry for not being there for your hair care needs and at the holidays and my busyist time of the season. It hurts me in more ways than I can express to you.
There is no one at the shop that I can refer you to yet. Capt Bill is working on getting someone there. Allen and Shelly are away for the holidays.
Life has taken in a new meaning to me. Cherish each moment. It may be your last.
