Salon Deevine
Salon Deevine is closed. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives.
I had good intentions to post updates on life in Spokane on this page but, I just don't have the time or spend much time on social media any longer. Most of you are friends of mine on Facebook so I do update there. Feel free to friend me on my personal account. I'm going to close my Salon Deevine page permanently the end of June... which will be my year anniversary of closing Salon Deevine. Thanks again for your friendships and trusting me with your hair. π
I'm going to be in my car for 2 hours tomorrow morn and 2 hours tomorrow evening... who wants to chit chat?

Well, we moved to Spokane about 2 months ago... I have been wanting to go to Manito Park so... I thought I better get up there. I had a good excuse... my friend/ old client who also moved here around the same time had ordered makeup and I needed to deliver it... Manito Park rose garden was in full bloom. It did not disappoint. I couldn't stop thinking about my mom and how she would have loved it. I also wished I had brought my pruning shears so that I could have taken some home for my water globe. π€ luckily, I stopped and visited with Cody who was pruning back the roses and he cut us some. I told him I would volunteer if they paid me in roses!... βΊπΉπ

Having worked on Saturdays for 30 plus years I missed out on a lot... weddings, baby and wedding showers, 2 days off in a row with my husband and.... farmers markets. So, today I found a farmers market. I bought some veggies, fresh made lemon/blueberry scones from The scone man and berries.

First time to this little gem. Spent the day with Madeleine our niece. She helped me sort through and organize salon stuff I took with me moved boxes in preparation for our pods and then we rewarded ourselves with milk shakes and a little thrift store shopping.

I'm alive and well. π€ͺ
I spent the last 2 days unpacking boxes and taking a mid-day break to get to know my new neighborhood. Yesterday I found Walmart and Safeway and today I found the biggest dollar tree I've ever been in! Tonight we tried a really good local restaurant called The Onion. I had fish tacos. They were really good! Oh! And when we were out looking for dinner I found Target!!

Reflecting back on the last 18 years as I close Salon Deevine and move into the next chapter. I couldn't have done it without all of my clients/ friends. It seemed fitting to have my last client be Teri. She is one of my longest, consistent clients I've had. I started doing her hair in 1986. Here's to 35 years of doing a career I love. Thank you to all of you who sat in my chair... β€ My life is richer because you all were in it.
Stay tuned to more pictures... I plan to keep this page open and I will be sharing life as we settle in and our adventures in Spokane.
