Do you mix curls?! If so when, why and how?!

I usually don’t, if we are being honest, but this particular eye shape is heavily downturned and I wanted to bring those outer corners up a bit and give her more lift!

Mapping and styling can be a real b*tch sometimes and understanding how and why we do what we do on a much complex level will help so much. This is key to creating long term clients because they trust you to give them the look they want for their eyes and face!

Need help in this area…because I definitely did! face studies changed the styling game for me AND also has an incredible course out there for styling!

To create this customized look I did a doll eye map on her since it suited her natural eye shape which was almond, and by using longer lengths like 14mm!⁠

This allowed me to hide the hollowness of her deep-set eyes, which she complained made her look tired and older than she was without makeup on.⁠
⁠
If we used shorter lengths the lashes wouldn't go past her high lid crease and therefore wouldn't have concealed the hollowness like we had wanted to.⁠

Shorter lengths still would have looked great on this gorgeous girl, but they wouldn't have done the job to make her look less tired and younger. ⁠
