Because apparently owning a salon means everyone gets their hair done…
Except the person who owns the damn salon. 🤌🏼
Your clients come first. Your schedule is stretched thin. There are 1,000,001 phone calls to answer, appointments to move, fires to put out…
And every time you think, “Okay, I’m next.”
Nope. 😂
Someone else needs you.
So yes, this is what getting your hair done as a salon owner actually looks like.
A little teamwork.
A little DIY.
A little “you foil that side, I’ll handle this one.” 🤣

She came in wishing for longer hair. More dimension. More of that is that all hers? kind of blend.
So we gave her exactly that. 😮💨
Two rows of 18-inch hand tied extensions, seamless IBE placement, and pops of dimension that melt into her natural hair like they were always meant to be there.
And the blend? Be so serious.
We’re completely obsessed with how this entire transformation came together. Not just the extensions. The color. The movement. The way every detail did exactly what we hoped it would do.
Seamless. Flawless. Dimensional.
But here’s the fun part…
We’re only getting started. 👀

Something about a good color blend.
Honestly warm tones are the hardest wefts to match to the natural hair…. There is always so much dimension and one color of weft will never flip the blend.
But this is where a strong background in extension training + color theory brings it to life.
+ a splash of tinsel never hurts
When you realize you’ve outgrown the mop….
Hair goes up.
Music gets louder.
Break + restock.
And then someone has to finish. 😝
Thanks goodness I have an amazing cleaner who does most of the mopping. But like everything else in the studio…. It’s time the mop gets upgraded.

Blondes, blowouts, and seeing that fresh blonde come to life… it’s one of my favorite things. 🤍
One thing about me—I pay attention to the details. Not just your hair, but the people who sit in my chair. Every conversation, every season of life, every relationship matters to me.
I was so excited when Kayla LaRance agreed to be my model for a blowout class. She’s a total boss, constantly on the go helping people find their forever homes… while I’m over here making sure she’s a forever blonde. ✨
She usually heads out with her hair wet and in a bun, so getting to give her a full blowout was such a treat. Seeing all the dimension, brightness, and seamless blend we created at her last appointment reminded me why I love what I do so much.
Now excuse me while I obsess over this blonde. 😍

Just over here daydreaming about all the beautiful dimensional color I’ve been doing lately.
Being grateful for where I am at in my career.
And patting myself on the back for taking my salon to the next level. Hello gorgeous.
But sitting here thinking about how much I’ve missed teaching and pouring into new talent.
I’m ready to bring on my next assistant that I can teach all the things too.
