Ideal Beauty by Skin Care Essentials was the result of a friendly wager with one of our pharmacists and his wife. The wager was that he could make a skin care product that was just as good as or better than the expensive products that she normally purchased. Yes, you read that right, Skin Care Essentials was born from the fully functional pharmacy we also own and operate separately. One afternoon, out of curiosity, he decided to read the ingredient labels on his wife’s many, expensive skin care products. After which told her that he could make the same products, in the pharmacy lab, using higher quality ingredients, for a lot less than she had been paying. The result: his wife loved the products so much that she suggested many other women would love them as well. From that, Ideal Beauty by Skin Care Essentials was born and the rest as they say is history…

You may be surprised to know that most skin care products on the market are mass produced, by third party manufactures, who sell those products to companies who, in turn, create their own labeling, packaging and spend tons of money on marketing and advertising. We, on the other hand, are a small company that focuses on using high quality, pharmacy grade ingredients, made in small lots, by real people, right here in our own lab.
