Ironman Lake Placid - Complete π«
Becoming an Ironman was something I put on my vision board a year ago, and it was a daunting goal. I spent hours training, and learning to feel prepared for race day. The event itself was an incredible experience!
I could not have crossed the finish line without the support of my friends and family β€οΈ
A special shoutout to my parents for always pushing me to do hard things and expand my comfort zone, my life partner who was often working twice as hard as me at the hospital while I trained, and my friend who helped keep me focused on our goal.
Since crossing the finish line I am not quite sure whats next, but I am going to enjoy the added free time in my day! π

Over the past year I decided to sign up and train for the Lake Placid Ironman. Building up my base of endurance has been a tiring and rewarding experience! ποΈ
Now having completed a marathon, and an olympic triathlon, I have one more event, a half Ironman to finalize my prep.
