1. “Shaving will make the hair grow back thicker”
—->When a hair grows naturally, the end tapers to a fine, soft point. Shaving cuts the hair straight across, leaving a blunt edge that feels less soft and more coarse.

2. “Grey hair isn’t actually grey.”
—-> Most “grey hair” is a blend of pigmented hairs and white hairs. What you see as “grey” is often an optical effect created by the mix. As we age, hair loses pigment and becomes white.

3. “If you pluck a grey, 3 more will not grow”
—-> One hair being plucked has no ability to create more hair follicles. Once you see a grey hair, it’s likely you will continue to see more because hair loses pigment as you age.
