Okay besties here’s the real tea on washing your lashes ☕️💛 (because someone has to say it)
🫧 You ACTUALLY need to wash them
If you’re not washing your lashes, you’re basically letting makeup, oil, sweat & buildup throw a sleepover on your lash line 😬
That buildup = poor retention, irritation, itchy/red eyes, and even lash mites…(yes they’re real!)
🧼 How often should you wash them? DAILY!
Clean lashes = better retention. Period.
✨ “Won’t washing make them fall out faster?”
Nope. Opposite.
What actually causes premature shedding:
• oil buildup breaking down adhesive
• rubbing itchy, dirty lashes
• sleeping on crusty makeup
🚿 Water is NOT the enemy. Dirt is.
Modern lash adhesive cures quickly I promise it will not harm them, it is necessary!
Clean lashes stay fluffy longer and shed normally.
Dirty lashes don’t last clean ones do.
