Going from Black to a lighter color is a process, especially if you have been using black for years! I usually recommend to my clients if they’re going to color their hair at home, use a dark brown and apply to ROOTS Only! It’s so easy to “refresh” your hair color by applying it everywhere or “don’t want to waste the color” but what you’re doing is layering color over color over and over again. This is makes it difficult when you want to get highlights or change up what you have. Come see me if you’re ready for a change 💁🏻‍♀️
