The heat wave is over! Go outside, take a walk, breathe it all in. This is summer! 🌞

An early summer heat wave is set to coincide with the end of the school year next week.
Parks with streams and lots of shade are the best options for kiddos and doggos. Pack sunblock, ice water, and low sodium snacks to prevent dehydration. Hats and breathable clothing will keep you cool.
I have back to back travel starting next week. I’ll be sharing my adventures in my stories as I go. Throughout the summer I’ll be posting reviews of my favorite places on those adventures.
I know it’s been quiet here but quality time away requires excellent planning so that’s where my attention has been lately.

Grateful for another trip around the sun! 🎂
This past year brought lots of positive changes. Much of that is due to getting my strength back. And with strength came clarity, confidence and happiness.
It started when I tried Barre for the first time last June. I loved it from the start. I “worked through the shake” and became stronger with each class I took.
I then began thinking about how the choices I was making on my rest days was affecting my performance in class. I started removing things that weren’t helping me & adding things that did. Healthier meals and smarter snacking gave me more energy. Push-ups, ab work and squats were added to my daily stretching routine. Little daily changes which brought about big long term results. 💪
Thank you for your constant support and guidance over the years I’ve been training with you.

Ellen and her team have built an amazing environment to help us reach our full potential and encourage us to realize that we are “stronger than we think.”
