This is my latest review of my Hand Foiler Tool I sell on Etsy:

5 out of 5 stars
Game changer! I love this new tool - all of my stained glass students try to use it now. I finally had to make a little card with the sellers Etsy site listed so that they can just buy their own.

New item coming soon to my Etsy storefront: Custom Laser Engraved Cork Fish Keychains. I suggest getting one for the boat owner / fisherman in your life. Can be engraved with your Boat License Number or a Fisherman's name and their home phone number. I'll consider all options including artwork. Price will vary from $15 to $25 depending on level of customization. Anticipate shipping will be FREE!

New batch of glass cutters and hand foiling tools available on my Etsy storefront.

Gotten all 5 💫 reviews for my TORPEDO Glass Cutter I sell in my Etsy store. Love it when a plan comes together!

GRINDER PUCK for Stained Glass

This little jewel saves your nails and finger tips when finish grinding your stained glass projects. Inspired by my many hours of playing Air Hockey as a kid. Nice thick full rubber sole outlasts o-ring versions found in other comparable products. Small size lets you work on small pieces better than it's larger counterparts out there. Totally different feel in your hand as well. Use the puck to push and maneuver the rough glass around against the grinder bit and protect your fingers from the sharp glass edges. So save some wear and tare on your wrists and fingertips and get superior contact with your glass as you grind- TODAY!

TORPEDO Glass Cutter

Stained glass cutter w/ built in foil crimper & burnishing roller. Ergonomic teardrop shape w/ H-channel rubber foiling doughnut at cutter end & a vinyl burnishing roller on the other. Comes with an oil dip well and features a durable carbide steel wheel that outlasts others.
While it's obvious why you need a glass cutter to make stained glass pieces, why you would need a "foiling doughnut" & a "roller" might not be.

So here goes:
Once your glass pieces are cut, grounded, and thoroughly cleaned- you apply copper foil on the glass edge evenly centered around the entire circumference of the piece.

Once the foil is applied, the black rubber H-Channel is used to gently crimp it against the EDGEs and onto the front & back faces of the glass.

Then, a fid of some sort is used to press the foil against the EDGEs of the glass firmly. You then roll over the foil on both FRONT and BACK faces of the glass to smooth out any wrinkles assuring good adhesion without any areas where flux may get under before you apply solder.
