Gray blending doesn’t always mean covering your gray. 🤍

My client gave me creative freedom, and I felt like adding dimension would give her the most natural, low-maintenance result.

We used her natural grays as the highlights and added depth with a demi-permanent color. Unlike permanent color, demi-permanent color isn’t designed to fully cover gray. Think of it like a lip stain instead of a full-coverage lipstick, it softly blends and tones the gray rather than completely hiding it.

That means there’s no harsh line of demarcation as it grows out. Instead, the color gradually fades, making the grow-out softer, more seamless, and much lower maintenance.

If you’re not quite ready to fully embrace your gray but don’t want the commitment of permanent color every few weeks, gray blending may be the perfect option for you. 🤍
