Mission:
The Garden Love is a business that embodies self-love, self-care, self-exploration, and wellness. The mission is to teach, and empower. To encourage all to chase their dreams and reach their goals, while finding ways to prioritize you and maintain your garden(body), holistically. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally. Spiritually.

Vision:
Our bodies are flourishing gardens. From the top of our heads, to our spirit and soul, to the bottom of our feet we grow, we love, we change, we love, we learn.
I created The Garden Love so that we may explore and embrace all aspects of who we are. To aid, understand, alleviate and improve ourselves holistically.

My hope is that TGL provides me and other caretakers, self-love gardeners, and lovers, support, guidance, and even a few necessary life skills so that we all may continue to kick ass and nourish our ever changing and flourishing bodies!

My name is A'Jae Grisby and I am the founder of The Garden Love.

6 Quick Facts About ME:

1. I'm an HBCU Grad! I am a proud Alumna of The Howard University. I received my B.A. in Political Science before getting my M.S. in Education with a concentration in ESL from Johns Hopkins University.
2. I currently live in Raleigh, North Carolina with my dog Benjamin, or Benji hehe. I am not sure where I will live next but I am keeping an open mind and an open heart.
3. I founded TGL in college. Making body butters and candles for friends and family during holidays because I had little money but lots of LOVE.
4. I am passionate about education, advocacy, policy, and taking care of our bodies in a holistic way as we pursue our purpose and love ourselves.
5. I care about equitable access to opportunities, education, and clean sustainable solutions for all, especially people of color and those who are marginalized.
6. I am a project manager at an environmental nonprofit, small business owner, growing consultant work.

The most important fact about me is that I am just a person. Living, loving, learning. Showing up for me, consistently and as persistently as my days allow. Leaning into me and prioritizing my relationship with God on my own terms and in all the best ways for me.
