i can’t marry a man outside of faith

because how do i explain
not eating for a few days
just to hear God more clearly

how do i explain choosing silence
over noise
prayer over panic
obedience over comfort

how do i explain trusting God
when it looks illogical
waiting when everyone else rushes
or fasting when the world says indulge

this isn’t about religion
it’s about alignment

i need someone who understands
that faith isn’t a phase
it’s how i survive

someone who won’t mock my devotion
or compete with my God

because if we don’t worship the same way
we won’t walk the same way either
