Education days are my favorite days 🖤

I’ve always been drawn to education and one of the things I love most about this industry is that there’s always more to learn. The further I’ve gotten into my career, the less often education feels completely new, which is why diving into extensions has been so exciting! It truly feels like learning a whole new craft.

For the past several months I’ve been learning through the online platform, and this week I finally attended my in-person class! Getting hands on practice and feedback really helped everything click, especially the last few little details I’ve been working through.

Even better, I got to experience the class alongside my coworkers, which made it such a fun bonding experience. Pun intended 😂

My first time in NYC! 🏙️🗽🍎

I had so much fun these last three days with my bestest friend! From all the delicious food and drinks, to the cat cafe, to big city lights, it was a trip to remember. Especially the part where we missed our flight home because I very strongly underestimated the difference between getting to RDU and getting to (and through) JFK. 😅 But alas, we made it home on another flight only two hours later, so I will still consider it a win.

My body feels very broken after all the walking, but my spirit feels so happy to have had a girls trip and so much bonding. Here’s to hopefully many more trips throughout life together. 🥂🖤
