“I want to be platinum”
Let’s chat! For a complete platinum service there are many things to consider.
1. Your natural color. - If you’re naturally super dark we will have to discuss realistic expectations and realistic goals for you.
2. Your time. This service should come in every 4-6 weeks. 6 at the absolute latest. No exceptions. Coming in later than this creates opportunity for banding, which means longer appointment times, and more services needed to accomplish a seamless, healthy color.
3. Your investment. - This service is an investment. If coming in every 4-6 weeks doesn’t work for you, we can totally discuss different options more suited for you and your lifestyle! This investment includes product you need to take home to maintain healthy blonde hair. Which brings me to -
4. Your at home care routine. -For me to accomplish this color and keep your hair HEALTHY, there are no exceptions to your at home care routine. I customize this for you while you’re in the salon with me. 🙌
I always say to my clients - you don’t take home the Lamborghini and wash it with Dawn dish soap. You have invested in a luxury, and you want to buy the proper products to maintain your investment and keep it shiny, bright, and like it was just driven off the lot. The same goes for your hair care! Invest in your hair care the way you invest in your hair color, and I promise you will be happier in the long run. Your hair will thank you for it. 😘

Annabelle wanted to bring up her blonde while keeping it soft. She’s been working on building back the strength and integrity of her hair by using the right products at home! She took home Leave In to protect her hair and also nourish and restore elasticity, and Mr. Smith Blond treatment to keep her her blonde strong and eliminate brass. 🙌

Golden hour ✨
We took Barbara rose gold for this visit, and I am living for it!
For this service I foiled her first and then we did two glazes. The goal was to keep this subtle but noticeable and I rinsed her first one a litttttttle too early out of fear. (Anyone else been there?) So we did a second glaze and let it sit. Here were our results!
Rose Gold facts:
👉This is a WARM finish and will fade warm. So if you’re used to light, cool tones and are afraid of warmth, this is a service you really want to think about before diving in.
👉This is NOT permanent color. She will not have a line of demarcation as it grows out, and it will be fairly easy to get her back to her original blonde. (Every person is different, but I imagine for Barbara this will take one or two sessions)
👉 For maintaining this color I recommend coming in for a touch up glaze every 6 weeks. It’s an easy, quick service and you can be out of the salon in 30-45 minutes or less if you don’t want a blow dry 😘

What’s your why?
Mine is moments like this.
I met Brittany a few years ago when pulling up to an accident that had just happened. It was a stormy night. Brittany’s car was on the side of the opposite side of road, front end destroyed.
I felt led to get out of my car to check on hers. (I was told no one was in there)
When I got to her car she was inside. Unconscious. So I got myself to her side of the car and started talking to her and praying over her. She eventually woke and began to panic. It was then that I took action to help calm her, and get in touch with her loved ones to let them know what had happened.
Long story short, Brittany had been hit head on by a drunk driver. Her engine was literally in her lap. She had to face surgery and several days in the hospital. There are so many pieces to what happened that night, I just praise God for putting me there and giving me the calm in the storm to go and help her.
I went and saw Brittany in the hospital and since then have kept in touch with this soul sister of mine.
Last week, I was able to practice makeup on her and give her a glam sesh. 😍
Which brings me back to my why - My why is to love on people. Whether that’s via hair, makeup, conversation, comfort, joy, laughter, fellowship. Helping you feel beautiful and empowered is the added bonus. You let me be a part of your self care. Of your vent sessions. Of your days where you need a pick me up. Of your confidence in yourself. Of your ups and your downs. Your bad days and your good days. And my prayer is that I somehow get to play a part in making the bad days good and the good days better.
I’m doing what I was meant to do. And I get to do this because you all allow me to be a part of these moments.
