Being hydrated is essential for a new piercing because it aids in faster healing, promotes healthy cell turnover, and prevents skin dryness around the site, reducing the risk of irritation or infection.

It also helps keep the skin pliable, allowing the area to handle swelling better, if you tend to swell more than the average you should drink plenty of water anyway!

Avoid excessive caffeine and alcohol, the night before which can cause dehydration & extra bleeding.

WHAT IF I GET SHAMPOO OR CONDITIONER ON IT?

Rinse it off! Just stay in little longer and let the shower pressure hit the piercing and wash it all off.

It’s not going to make your piercing infected or irritated as long as you just stay and let it wash away!
