Quick reminder of do's and don't before & after receiving a waxing service.

Within the next 24-48 hours you want to avoid sweating as much as possible, so don't leave your wax and head to the gym. Your pores are wide open, so you don't want all that sweat and bacteria to seep their way in those.

You want to avoid tanning products 24-48 hours after your wax as well, because that tanning product can pe*****te deeper into your open pores causing dark circles.

I also recommended wearing comfy, loose fitting clothes to your wax. That way, your skin has some room to breath after and there's nothing rubbing against it causing irritation to your fresh wax.

You definitely don't want to do any type of submerging within the next 24 hours at least. Remember, waxing is an exfoliant. So, you wouldn't want to go swimming in a chlorinated or salt water pool, as that would dry you out too much. Also, pools are a swimming ground for bacteria 🦠

The use of deodorant or perfumes too soon after a wax can cause severe irritation & redness.

THE biggest thing you do not want to do after a wax is touch the area. Doing so will cause all that bacteria on your hands to enter your open pores and cause bumps/ breakouts. Who wants to have those after a fresh wax? 🫠
