🥬 Leafy greens packed with vitamins and minerals
🐟 Omega-3-rich fish like salmon

Perimenopause vs. Menopause: What's the Difference?
Many women use the terms interchangeably, but they're actually two different stages of a natural transition.
🔹 Perimenopause is the time leading up to menopause, when hormone levels begin to fluctuate. This transition can last several years and may include symptoms like:
• Irregular periods
• Hot flashes or night sweats
• Mood changes
• Sleep disturbances
• Brain fog
• Vaginal dryness
🔹 Menopause is officially diagnosed after you've gone 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period. While periods have ended, symptoms like hot flashes, sleep changes, and vaginal dryness may continue for some women.
The good news? You don't have to simply "live with it." There are lifestyle changes, non-hormonal options, and hormone therapy for appropriate candidates that can help manage symptoms and improve your quality of life.
At the Women's Wellness Center, we're here to support you through every stage of your wellness journey. If you're experiencing changes or have questions about perimenopause or menopause, schedule an appointment with our certified menopause practitioner team today.

Low libido isn't "just part of getting older."
Many women experience changes in sexual desire, but persistent low libido may be linked to more than a busy schedule. Hormonal changes, menopause, medications, chronic health conditions, stress, and even pain during intimacy can all play a role and many of these issues are treatable.
The most important step? Start the conversation. You don't have to live with symptoms that affect your confidence, relationships, or quality of life. Your OB-GYN can help identify the underlying cause and recommend personalized treatment options.
Sexual health is an important part of your overall well-being. If something doesn't feel right, don't hesitate to ask.
