Some Derb-a-licious coming atcha today! We had the BEST week ever - celebrating our amazing family of talented local wedding pros at our Derby themed luncheon. This was also a big week for our team - as it was the first event for our new squad.
Y’all might recognize me, Jenna Parks, from Insta-stories (yellow hat). To my right is my mama, Donna Parks who founded SB&G over 30 years ago (!!) as the first NC wedding magazine (talk about a ). Mom & I have been partners in all operations for almost 10 years now.
At far left is Patricia Campbell, our Art Director who has designed the gorgeous spreads you see in the magazine for almost 15 years.
And we’re so excited to introduce our newest team members (drumroll please... 🥁) Becca Lee Taylor is the lovely lady in teal, and she’s our Editorial Shoot Director. (She slayed the design for this event y’all, if you missed the story check our highlight reel). Marie Muir - pretty in pink - is our Content Manager. She’s behind the sweet real wedding stories you read on our blog, and other digital marketing and events coverage.
