WHAT'S UP ON MY PEPS ON THIS THIRSTY THURSDAYS!!!
At Transitions Healthy Hair Bar I see a lot of thirsty hair strands.
So today's tip with deal with what hydrates your hair.
The best way to hydrate your hair especially for naturals is through a monthly Hair Steamer treatment.
Although you probably wash and condition your hair weekly, the conditioner does not pe*****te the hair fully. Steamers can help with moisture retention. The steam opens up the hair shaft which allows the conditioner and oils to pe*****te it. This allow the hair to grow stronger and longer.
So guess what folks! I offer a professional hair steamer treatment in my salon.
SO MAKE AN APPT TODAY AND LET'S MAKE THOSE CURLS POP!!!

HAPPY WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY FROM:
Transitions Healthy Hair Bar
DAILY HAIR TIP:
Are you already familiar with the LOC method? It was designed to get the most out of your curls, to moisturize your hair while retaining the moisture. It shows the order of application of products to keep hair moisturized and sealed for longer.
LOC stands for Liquid, Oil, Cream.
Liquid: Water- you may use a leave in conditioner also
Oil: oil or butter- Use an oil that your hair favors. My oils that I like to use at home and in the shop is (base oil) Coconut Oil or Olive Oil, Tea Tree Oil and Peppermint Oil
Cream: styling cream or gel--Shea Moisture's Curl Enhancing Smoothie, Giovanni Smooth as Silk, and Shea moisture Curl and Style Milk are some good choices I have tried
RUNNING LATE???: If you run out of time in the morning to do three separate steps a good trick is to mix a tablespoon of your oil and 2 tablespoon of your styling cream to about a half cup of water in a spray bottle and use it to moisturize your hair. Its just a quick way to do the LOC method!
