Fall Update

Hello My Beauties and Gents,

This is a quick last quarter of 2025 check in with a couple announcements.

As many of you know, I went back to college. It has been a very good reminder of my age! I am enjoying every class I take, even though I have to work five times harder to retain the information than when I was in my twenties!

I have another little bundle on the way. I already have My Squishy, and I can't wait for this little peanut to arrive. He will be here in days! Mom is doing great, and we all cannot wait for Baby #2's arrival. No, they don't have a name for him yet, but some very sweet options are being considered.

With these two life events, school and two sweet boys to spend time with, my schedule is very busy. That being the case, I am closing my books for the rest of the 2025. My online booking is currently turned off. If you have not made your appointments, please reach out to me ASAP. Please know that if you need to be seen and I cannot get you in, the salon has an amazing apprentice, Taytum, and some wonderfully talented co-workers who can see you. I will be working on my schedule in the next few weeks to have Taytum assisting for me on Mondays.

I wanted to thank you ALL for your support and encouragement during this time. I did not make the decision to go back to school easily, but it helps that everyone has been so wonderful!

2024 Year in Review

& Finding Hygge in 2025!

Hello My Beauties and Gents,

2024 was a year filled with significant milestones in our lives. My parents celebrated 50 years of marriage. I’m thrilled to share that Matthew and family are now healthy after facing some challenges over the year. Max started a new job and bought his first house. Noah and Sadie spent their first full year being parents to Greyson, making their new house in to a home, and celebrated their recent engagement. Hunter completed his first house flip and also started a new job. My fur baby, Jax, had his 8th birthday and is staying relatively healthy. Brad has been working hard on the backyard remodel which is almost complete. I can’t wait to celebrate many fun filled days this summer with family and friends.

And now for the reason this newsletter comes to you three weeks late. On December 14, 2024 we lost the patriarch of our family. For almost a full month there were many days spent in hospitals, rehabs, and back at hospitals again. Unfortunately, during that time my Mom, Dad and my Grandma all became sick too. They are fully recovered now. With the love and support of family and her friends, my Grandma is settling in to her new world and assisted living home. She’s already making more friends and is starting to enjoy her days. It was a very difficult time for us all. I appreciate the understanding for every postponed appointment at short notice, and sometimes lack of communication. But I’m pretty sure you all know how important family is to me. I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to be with them throughout the past two months. In 2024 my Grandpa celebrated his 100th Birthday, and 78 years of marriage! He was a WWII Vet with the United States Coast Guard. He had so many friends, sometimes it felt like I was with celebrities at our weekly brunch! He also loved coming to the salon for his pedicures and to get a haircut. He could strike up a conversation with anyone, and loved flirting with the ladies! He loved his family, and had an amazing life! I’m so lucky to have had so much time with him. I feel at peace, but I miss him Everyday!!!!

I cant believe it, but we are going to celebrate three years this June at Sixth & Main the Salon. I guess it is what they say, “Time flies when you’re having fun!”. Victoria has made such a beautiful space for us to work and is constantly looking at ways to improve your experience in the salon, including our New PediSpa!! If you haven’t had a chance to get in with May lately, you should! Also, please check out the regular new additions to the boutique area during your visits. There may even be some new products coming soon….. shhhhhh!! The salon is thriving! We have welcomed a new stylist in training, Taytum! She’s a fantastic addition to our team and we can’t wait for you to meet her. Many of you already know her, but If you don’t, and you see her around, please introduce yourself. Help us make her feel at home! We are already planning an exciting event for this summer that you won’t want to miss! Stay tuned for more details as we finalize our plans.

This decision is never taken lightly, but it’s essential for me to continue providing you with the high-quality services and products you all deserve.
