A love so grand only a mom would understand. Luca and Daddy made it a very special day even though daddy had to work. I was showered with love and spent the day with my mom and dad while we all obsessed over my baby. 4 month later and it’s still wild to say I have a baby and I’m a mama 🥹 nothing in this world I wanted more 🩵

Two months yesterday🩵 you were not amused by the pictures yesterday so we retook some this morning in the same outfit as last month. In just a few short weeks you smile more regularly, although still camera shy! You do small giggles that melt my heart. Still OBSESSED with your hands, you’ve found them and they’re always in your mouth. Favorite pooping location is daddy’s lap, it never fails. You love your swing but to be held even more. Nothing short of a miracle my sweet boy 🩵

It’s hard to believe you came into this world one month ago! You have changed your daddy’s and my life for the better. Our first week was a bit rough, given the circumstances, and we have been playing catch up since.. but we are finally getting into a routine and a rhythm as a family of 3 🩵💚💜 I mean as much as you can with a newborn. The amount of happy tears that have been shed could probably compete with some of the larger bodies of water around.

Some things to note during your first month around the sun:
You are a handsy little man. Saying you love your little patitas is an understatement. Even with the baby straight jackets(halo sleep sacks) and the worlds best swaddlers, you some how manage to squeeze your hands and arms out and keep them right by your face just like in all our ultrasounds. You LOVE car rides, which we are so grateful for! You weren’t a fan of sponge baths but once we got to do full baths you enjoyed them so much. You’re starting to coo a little and crack smiles for mama and dada but when the camera comes out you get a Zoolander stare. You have turned me into “that mom” who has a million and one pictures and yet never enough. I can’t help but try to capture certain things so I can cherish every moment when I look back through them. You have stolen many hearts already 💕 We love you so much my little pudge muffin. Continue doing what bubs do and be a little cutie pie.

By no means is this our best picture but it’s the most recently of us and our little 🎃🥹 Happy 10 year anniversary my sweet husband.
