Let’s talk “Annual Touch-Ups” 📆

We call it that to differentiate it from the 6-week TU, but most can actually go longer than a year. If you’re on the oily side, you’ll likely be in the 1-1.5 year range while drier skin types can go 5+ years.

It’s normal for pigment to lose its warmth first, but to what degree varies hugely person to person. We mitigate the ashy tones the best we can by modifying our pigments, but eventually they’ll cool off.

If you’re looking grayish, we’ll want to warm up the base first, then add fresh strokes on top. If your color has aged well, we’ll just microblade. If keeping a soft, natural brow thru the years is important to you, a “less is more” approach is key 🔑 for annuals. This will prevent oversaturation over the years so we can have a long happy relationship 😘

On that note, we also need to make sure they’ve faded about 50% before adding more pigment.

And lastly, annual touch-ups are for my returning clients only. It’s ok if you’ve had them done before, I’d still love to have you! But I’m going to need more time than is allotted for a touch-up so we can reshape & correct any color issues. DM me pics & I can help you get booked ☺️
