Braidlocks, Microlocks with base extensions... DONT DO IT... unless you have thoroughly researched the outcomes and issues with multiple stylists.

Braidlocks take the longest to cultivate/form into locks. They are NOT BETTER than twistlocks. Your locks WILL NOT be uniform as with Interlocks.
Lock extensions; micro or traditional, the added hair should NOT be added at the base. If they are you essentially have kinky twists or braids that you"re allowing to lock. The weight is too heavy. The issues associated can be detrimental to the health of your hair/locks. Lock extensions should be pre-formed and added to the end of your starter locks. They should match the size and density of your lock.
When researching stylists to perform lock extensions ask for pics and referrals from other clients that have had them for at least a year - you want to see mature locks as well as when they were installed. If it's an issue for them to provide, keep moving.
