Hello, I’m Val! I have lived in Rapid City for over 30 years. Prior to doing hair I was a Pharmacy Technician at a local pharmacy for 15 years. I have been doing hair since 2019 since graduating from Black Hills Beauty College/ TSPA.

I truly believe in doing a thorough consultation with each
guest. Everyone is unique and different in their own special way! I would love to get to know YOU and your hair! My favorite thing about doing hair is connecting with all different kinds of people and getting to hear their stories. My goal is to make each person feel comfortable in my chair. Another
awesome thing about this industry is that it is always changing, and my passion is to learn all about it.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. During the summer months I enjoy camping, BBQing and going on adventures in the
Black Hills. In the winter months cooking some soup, having a fire in the fireplace and watching a funny movie is just perfect. I am a proud mom of 1 adult son and 2 fur babies.

With 25 years in the beauty industry, Jessie brings passion, creativity, and experience to every client she serves. After proudly serving in the U.S. Navy, she pursued her love for hair at the Paul Mitchell Academy in Seattle, Washington.
Jessie thrives on challenges, embraces creativity, and loves making people smile. For her, hairstyling isn’t just a job—it’s a true passion!
Outside the salon, she’s a proud mom of two amazing sons (25 and 5), a loving pet parent to three fur babies, and surrounded by a fantastic support system.
