Here is our June 2026 schedule!!!
We hope to see you as a participant or a volunteer at an event this month!!!

5/28 from 9-11 we will be set up at WSDCA CAP Office again.
The entrance isn't marked but the entrance is the door to the right of the WSDCA Thrift Store !!
Just come in!! We need to mark that better!!
Showers, haircuts and fingernail painting will be available!!!
Knollwood Heights United Methodist Church will be there with snacky-snacks!!!
Come and shower.
Come and help serve.
Come and visit!!

It started in the old Two Wheeler Dealer on East North (which is now Breadroot Natural Foods Co-op !!).
We were asked to leave that spot because the building was for sale, and the realtor told us we were bringing in a bad element to the building.
We pulled out and took a left and parked up against the curb at Roosevelt Park.
We served biscuits and gravy every Sunday morning for years.
We got to know our friends.
We got to know their names and stories.
We've watched some get sober, some get housed, some go back home, and some pass on.
In our talks.... about what they needed... "socks" were the first thing they'd say.
Then after more conversations.... "showers" is what they said they'd love.
It took years for Showered With Hope to happen.
To bring hot showers and dignity, and self esteem to our friends, to where they have access..... it's a feeling that you have to experience.
The hot water heals (their) souls.
The smiles heals (our) souls.
The June schedule will be out soon.
We'd love to have you come and help and get to know the people that few want to make eye contact with.
Jesus loves them.
We should too.

Yesterday we were able to shower humans at the CAP Office.
The day was amazing so we set up outside, while still using the indoor shower.
Today it's cold and raining.
We will be at CAP Office again, but set up inside somehow!
They are doing renovation there so things keep getting moved around...... but we will adapt!
Come and shower.

Haircuts and nail painting will be available!!!

5/21 and 5/22 from 9-11 am, we will be set up at WSDCA CAP Office!!
WSDCA Thrift Store provides a $5 clothing voucher for clothes.

Come and visit!!
I believe haircuts and fingernail painting will also be available!!
We hold the shower events inside.
Enter through the door just to the right of the Thrift Store!!!

Today, I had to go to work, so I set the trailer up early.
I actually just leveled it and got hoses and electricity hooked up.
These 4 girls.... (there's one taking the picture!!) did an amazing job of trying to figure out how to get it going.
I stopped by and we went over some things and I left again.
When I stopped off to pick it up..... they had everything thing done.... it was ready to just hook up and go.
Normally our gigantic hearted Gary Kreun is there but today he took his ol' hot rod out cruising.
Vice Grip Garage and other YouTubers are in town doing a Rod Run.
Gary is huge in the car scene here and with Counts Car Club so we excused his absence!!
We only had 1 shower, but we all consider 1 shower a success!!!
We'll be outdoors again next week.

What an amazing day to be back outside in the sun and breeze at Breadroot Natural Foods Co-op.
We were able to get 5 humans showered!
We handed out 7 hygiene bags.
Home Ministries performed 1 haircut!!!
Such a beautiful thing.
Thank You Jesus for the opportunity to be Your hands and feet.
We're thankful for the opportunity!
Next shower event is 5/14 at Knollwood Heights United Methodist Church 9-11.
Come shower.
