Friday
When we focus on Jesus, the urge to compare or judge just falls away. Grateful for the peace that comes with keeping my eyes on Him this week.
Thursday
Being watchful today means being intentional with my gratitude. God has done so much, is doing so much, and holds my future. Thankful today!
Wednesday
Midweek check-in! Love isn’t something I have to force when my heart is anchored in Christ—it’s just the natural result of staying focused on Him.
Tuesday
Watchful Tuesday: Asking myself today, am I spending as much time in His Word as I am scrolling through the news and social media?
Monday
Starting the week off by watching where my focus goes. It’s so easy to judge others or criticize myself, but today I’m choosing to simply fix my eyes on Jesus.
My word for this week is Watchful.
It made me stop and ask myself: what does being watchful actually look like? Should I be watching others to see how good or bad they are doing? Should I be watching myself to judge my own successes and failures? Or should I just be watching the circumstances around me?
I realized the absolute most important thing I want to be watchful about is this: am I keeping my eyes focused on Jesus? Am I reading His word, and am I in prayer? Am I watchful about my gratitude to God for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do in my life?
I am learning that if I am watchful about these things, my focus becomes far less judgmental and so much more loving to those around me. Not because I am forcing myself to think about it, but because it is the natural, beautiful result of keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. 🙏✨
