Before I left NH I had ordered a plaque from Union Leader after our win this year! I hoped to be able to bring it to the salon and snap a shot with the ladies. However timing was off, but the Union Leader team was able to hand deliver the plaque to the salon! Shout out to Deanne for that!

I thank all of our clients again for voting us this year. I wanted to get the plaque for my Aunt Thuy and Aunt Ngoc because it symbolizes how well we did as a team. Without them nothing would be possible. I know my aunts are doing amazing and I’m so proud of Aunt Thuy taking over! I hope our clients will vote for them every year! Thank you ladies and gentlemen! ❤️🙏🏼

Hello Clients! The ladies were closed today because Aunt Thuy had to get an inspection for the salon. She just let me know she of course PASSED with ease ✅🎉

The aunts are following the same standards and protocols as they always did with me. The inspector was very shocked about the owner change, but was very pleased that the salon is as it was from the last inspection. I know my Aunt Thuy is very relieved to have passed and will continue to do amazing. I really feel this was her destiny and I’m so proud of her.

We talk all of the time and I’m so happy that business continues to thrive and all of the clients support and love the aunts. I know every step Aunt Thuy takes in her business she is feeling more and more blessed. I am so happy for her!

The aunts will reopen for business tomorrow 7/22!

Thank you ladies

Happy Birthday to our neighbor and owner of Mystudio14 Kendra! 🎉🎉🎉

Just like that… with a whole lot of tears and even more gratitude, I officially passed my inspection and checked off every box needed to make my salon legal and ready to open.
My dream has finally become a reality, and I truly can’t believe this moment is here. So much hard work, stress, late nights, and love went into creating this space, and I’m beyond excited to finally share it with all of you.
Now it’s time to celebrate!
Join us tomorrow, Saturday from 2–5 PM for our Grand Opening/Open House. I can’t wait to see everyone, show you the salon, and celebrate this huge milestone together.

The ladies will be closed all day, July 21st!

All clients have or will be contacted. Thanks for your understanding!

Hello Clients! If some of you remember I posted the other day that one of our clients unfortunately experienced a house fire. Luckily she and her whole family were able to make it out. A client had mentioned a house fire in Chester at the time. Not until I saw the go fund me did I learn it was a member of our KD Nails client family. My family donated trying to give support in some way, but also because we too experienced a house fire in Chester in 2014. We know what it’s like. Stacy is truly such a hard working wife and mother. I used to joke with her that she must’ve been a princess in her past life, with the amount of work she does in this life. So to learn she experienced such a horrible occurrence I truly am praying for her and the family. I tried to find a way to contact her (as I read all of their belongings burned, phone included) I felt and hope before I left NH someway I’d be able to contact Stacy.

By chance one day before I left NH a client was in. She mentioned her neighbor/friend experienced a house fire. I whipped my head around and asked is your neighbor Stacy? And it was! I felt that once again God’s timing is working out again. The salon has a way of always making things come together for our staff and clients. Im always hoping the energy stays positive and warm for my Aunt T.

Before I left NH I purchased a gift card for Stacy from my Aunt T…so that she could find a day to relax. I feel a lot of times the mom/wife of families are the ones who hold everything together. Stacy was able to text me recently to thank me. No thanks was needed, but I’m just glad she is okay.

After reading their families most recent update. I was very shocked to read that in their hotel there was a fire alarm evacuation, because my family also experienced this when we stayed at the hotel from our house fire. That’s a lot to process and very scary. Just praying for their well-being and I know it will all work out in time.

If anyone is able, please consider donating to their active go fund me https://gofund.me/346cbc37d

Hello Clients! I got a message from a former client of ours regarding a post she saw on Raymond Squawks, the page. A Client said that she brought in an old gift card from years ago, intending to use it for her mom and was unable to use it. When I sold KD NAILS STUDIO to my Aunt T we made sure to go over any gift cards still unused within our agreement.

My family salon has always had a one year expiration on our paper gift cards we sell in our salon. We have never really had an issue with these as people usually are able to come within a timely manner. However of course life happens. After reading the comments on Raymond Squawks, I went to research for the regulations in NH.

According to the CARD ACT (signed by Obama in 2009) paper gift cards that state of an expiration (which we sell) are able to be expired, but we have to give a 5 year window. We genuinely never had a situation where this ever came up, however in life we learn everyday.

I was able to contact the client who made the original post and am very happy she was able to see my message and we are making it right for her. My family and my aunt T, the new owner genuinely had no idea of this regulation, but moving forward will update our policy and future paper gift cards. My Aunt T is truly like my family and would never knowingly make decisions that aren’t right.

We thank the client and everyone for understanding!

- David on behalf of my family and my Aunt Thuy!
